My Personal/Category Thoughts

This song would work good for a main menu for some type of fps or fighting arcade game. The bass drums was a bit too much hurting my ears a bit. The higher leads part probably the best part of this short custom song. The quality seemed poor. I guess I'll try the game this is on, too bad it isn't released XD. The song seemed original through my ears. Different from most general/modern rock, but the same sounding as late 80's and early 90's rock.

haha, yeah, thats the era I was raised in. Good ear. And yeah the quality is a bit shotty, I was really tweaking my tone to try to get the rhythm to stand out more. On my speakers it sounded alright, but when I listen to it at work, it sounded like shit. But my speakers at home are way WAY better than my speakers at work. Anyways, thanks for the review.\m/

I was not so much with the vocals though, especially when I had to really use my ears to find out what you were trying to say. Also the vocals seemed a bit scratchy at times. The percussion mix with the guitar was great. Especially keeping a good up tempo beat made the song ever better. The chorus was great, best part of the whole song. Chorus is what got me into the song the most. The guitar solo after the chorus was orgasmic to my ears, that mix worked perfectly.

I guess it depends on the speakers, I can hear the vocals almost too loud and yeah, I scratched in a few places..but I plan on redoing this as well now that I finally have a good mic. For the time being...

Don't Get Rid of Entrance

Wow, the entrance really brought me into the song. The beggining was the best part, even though the whole song worked out good. The higher octave instruments always seem to bring out the best part of the song, even though it needs the bass to help guide it. The quality was a great asset for the song. The ending worked out good showing that the song wasn't a loop. You seemed to give this song good thoughts and efforts and from the best beggining, it showed that this song was different from a lot of other songs I here on newgrounds.

A calm simple beat with slow tempo slowly speeding up with different leads transending in with the main theme. That's the basic definition for this song. The quality was good from what I heard. Sadly this is just a demo and I'll be waiting for the full version even though this came out over a year before. The bass was good without being pumped by the means of any way. Original from the slow beats up rising to a calm percussion beat. You gave loyal efforts on this song.

It wasn't really orchestra, moreso a super nintendo taste and type of beat, at least from what I usually hear. Has a metroid sound where she starts off on her first quest. The quality was not bad, not the best, but good. No bass was added on this song, but bass simply didn't work for this type of song. A nice slow tempo was produced for this song, which I have to say I love. You could have not made it sound any better with any other other tempo. The song might have also worked out a little more sharp, but not as good as sound would have exported from my thought of opinion. Need to add this to mypod shuffle. Very original especially from the techno vibes I usually hear on audiogrounds.

Even though I have already heard a song with vocals, congrats on having your first vocal song a success. The vocals crisp quality as well as the leads, bass and percussion sound effects. Having a 4 beat stanza worked good for this song. The tempo was also at a good pace. The bass did masterfull work on my bass sub woofers. The song was a good touch to the songs you normally do. Other than it being a standard techno song, it was very original. I'm not sure how hard you worked on gettin the vocals, but your hard work payed off with a great song.

Overall is a bit Weird

Great use of bass and drums, but didn't really delivery anything to me except high quality techno. The leads were okay after a little while, but it took a little too long for the climax to reveal itself. The song was a good length, not too short, yet not too long getting bored of it.

The quality of the song was great, nothing wrong with the way it sounded. Overhearing it, it sounded like you gave great efforts making it. Very original and diverse from what I usually hear on newgrounds.

It's amazing how a small simple beat could go a far ways with having so many submissions and reviews. The simple beat was not really that good, but I guess it worked on what you were succeeding on. Nothing else to say.

The quality wasn't really good, since it wasn't even an mp3 file(no offence, haha). I'm sure you gave minimal efforts since it was only suppose to be a very quick,short loop for a game. It was original back then and diverse back then since there were barely any audios out.

Wow, the vocals are great, really helps the leads and deep base out. Gave the song an extra oomph, just something it needs. Wasn't so long, but the beggining vocals brings me a little too much into the song. I noticed you did 4 beats per stanza, which worked out great for the song. Best part of the vocals were the high notes, since it's hard getting the higher octaves.

Quality was great, especially since the vocal add ons were crisp, which is one of the hardest things to do with a song. Very artistic and original since I never heard this song before. There could have been more to it. Seemed a little too short for my taste.

For some reason a lot of people hated this game, but I still love this game. This was one of the better soundtracks on the game, although my favorite part was the vocals, so that was kind of a letdown for me, no offence or anything. The song was at a good tempo and tone, and the treble fit good, the bass was okay. The reloop didn't work so well.

The quality seemed kind of poor, but I guess it worked with the song, especially since this was made a long time ago. Didn't seem like you gave the highest efforts, but still good. Original and diverse in it's own ways since there really isn't an other Sonic Racing songs on newgrounds.
