I have to say, the title of the song intrigued me and I had to listen. The song definitely has a raw, anger to it, glad you could make is musically. The mix of lead and rhythm guitar was nice, and the drums worked well for the song as well. Gave that feeling that everything is gonna be okay. The lead just felt good for the soul. The quality was pretty good as well. Good job on this and rock on.

Cheers for the comment dude! Sometimes you just get that feeling that needs to be recorded, glad you enjoy it \m/

Yeah this remake is pretty epic. It has the classic, orchestrated feel to it, mixed with some kick ass heavy rock. The power chords used on this was pleasant and very enjoyable. The remake is just as sick as the original. Always makes me wanna whip out a pokeball. The drums also gave it an edgy sound to it as well. R and S didn't have my favorite pokemon music, but after listening to this, I might have to change my opinion on what I thought of the two games. Great job man, rock on!

Thanks man! I appreciate it! Rock on! :)

Ha! This is pretty damn good. Very fast and tempo and crazy use of drums. Does really have a thrashy sound. The quality of the song worked perfect for the punk thrash sound you wanted. The screamo part also was pretty decent. You just wanna mosh to something like this. The remake was very accurate in all aspects. Good job with this man. Rock lobster!

Hah, Thanks man!! Glad you liked it!

The guitar chords used are so good. Very enjoyable. The vocals aren't too bad, good on the tone and way better than I can sing. The chorus is alright, but the chords before and after are what really got me. The quality is quite well for actually playing guitar. The tempo is on point. Could have added more of a bridge and outro, but it was good for what you did. And good job for only taking five hours on it. 2 thumbs up.

Hey thanks :D Writing music is my stress reliever and hearing people actually like it is great!

It feels like a lot of effort was taken on making this song. Using a seven stringer isn't easy by any means. How it starts slow and really picks up is quite wicked. The quality of this song is also excellent. Some mad shredding on the song as well, I like. Mixing the rhythm with the lead was definitely my favorite part of the song. Just thought of and executed perfectly. One solo, after another, and another, sweet. The drums were incorporated very well as well. Good job on this song man, rock on.

Thanks for the great detailed review. People never believe me but I usually come up with my songs in one sitting and record everything. I like to do it that way or I will forget it lol.

There is a lot of potential to be made with vocals in this song. It felt like a softer to harder version of a metallica. The slow tempo really set the mood to start it off. The quality of the song was also very well done. It was hard at time thinking of the lyrics and locals could be, especially with how much the lead guitar took control of the song. The change from hard to soft, and vise versa was fluent, smooth and worked perfectly. Always enjoy a song that builds of to something big and BAM! Enjoyed quite a considerable amount. Hope to see lyrics added some day. Great piece.

Well thanks for another great review. Everyone I know is to damn lazy to write lyrics to it lol.

The drum beat was pretty sick. Really added to the bass and guitar. The song is a very accurate remake of the original. Sounds good of course like the original. The quality was pretty decent, could have been a little better, but that's just nit picking. Having two guitars playing in sync at parts of the song was great, my favorite parts for sure. What I think overall really brought the song together though was how the drums were used. Just really giving it more of an edgy rock feel. Great job!

Thank you! Yeah sometimes the guitars with certain tunings or effects rest in the same frequency as the drums.. or one distortion versus another so the fun is in the mixing. I do often wonder if MP3 format, even though it's at 320, does sometimes hammer the overall quality a bit. Very cool you dig it! :)

The song kept it's old nostalgic feel good theme to it. The quality could have been a little better. It was a cool idea to switch the vocals with guitar, because who doesn't like guitar. I was a little worried at the beginning that it might have a rock feel, but was shortly surprised after. The chorus was quite nice I'll have to say. The background music also sounded very nice, can't quite describe, but it felt good to the ears. Overall it was pretty decent. Good job.

Thanks!

Very hip hop-esk beat going on here. Would like some lyrics to follow up with this as well, but I guess that could be used for the imagination of street rappers. The choices of noises chosen sounded really cool. The echo effect near the end sounded cool, could have done with more of that. It also seemed a little short and could have been built up a bit more. Just a bit of nit picking. It was a sweet beat and very well done. Good job.

phosphorusprocedure responds:

Thanks for the feedback!

They usually tend to run a little short. If a beat goes past a minute and a half I get kinda bored of listening to it.

I still don't know how I feel about the kick. It sounded kinda weak, so I turned it down an octave and applied Camel Crusher to it, beefing it up, but it also sounded really compressed. I'm wondering how the beat would sound with a different kick.

That echo thing was a sample I tried getting to sound melodic but it didn't sound good in lower octaves so I cranked it up and put lots of delay and reverb on it. Got this western clacker kind of thing going I was pretty happy with.

Thanks for digging the noises. Some tracks I focus more on the notes, others more on the sounds I'm using. This one was mostly sounds.

Really cute 8-bit song with heavy drum beats. The tempo is also set at a good speed. Feels like you're right in a platformer. The quality is great on the song, and the loop is set to a good time. Quite a cool little jingle through out the whole loop. The bleep bloops (as you say) and the drums sync of very well and bring the melody out. Something I could see used in future flash games. Good job on this.

capsule69 responds:

Ah thanks man, that's awesome!
