[FlashMotion: Bubble Burst]

Fun Webcam Game

The good
- Interactive
- Excersize for fatties
- Good idea for a game

The bad
- No replay value

If you like Eye toy than you will like this since it has the same type of bubble pop game. Anyways how did you think of making this game and was it hard to make or actually really easy.

It was pretty hard to figure out the Motion Detection, and then get the collision items to detect the motion as well, but the video input was really easy. it was just a simple case of looking for it on Google.

The motion detection was harder, while there was some stuff lying around the net showcasing it, it wasnt very accurate, and it took a lot of resources (running a loop for every detection node on the screen - therefore in excess of around 500-1000 process calls per tenth of a second :O)

therefore i used some quick thinking, and some help from the inbuilt Flash 8 Filters to create a simple test that runs only 10 times a second (instead of thousands)

The concept and structured english layout of the coding took a couple of weeks, and the actual programming took about two days (not including research)

I am currently working on a new game, but that is taking much longer than expected as the game designs are much more complicated to implement. --- speaking of which, back to that ;)

Yay I Won First Try

The good
- Good amount of questions
- Not too hard, not too easy
- Good song
- Good backround

The bad
- The prize was same old, same old
- Could have had better questions to ask

The game wasn't too bad. People would usually have a hard time beating it. I did pretty good on it, so i had no problem. Good game, make a second installment sometime, that is if you have the time.

- Nothing about the BBS
- Only one repetative song

Even though I knew everything (except who the diety whistle was at the moment) this was really good. a "noob" or begginer should check this out when they first get on newgrounds for a little guidence and so they know what's coming ahead of them in the BBS when they first find out what it is. Some links were a little misleading, but overall it something for some people to check. Even for me to check for that one thing that I didn't know. Great job, you deserve that 8.

Addicting Game

The good
- Really addicting
- Can toggle the speed settings
- Extravigant gameplay

The bad
- Gets you drowsy
- No audio
- The game can be cheap, at least to me

I'm giving this game a 7 for being more like a game you play on addicting games, but this game can be enjoyable to people who need a break. Sorta like playing a type of a card game twenty times. Well I liked it so I gave it an okay review.

Glitchy, But You Have Potential

If you make this game again with more characters and levels, this game could be on front page of games. I know you have talent hidden in you. This game was really glitchy though. You were able to go through anything. Make an update of this game and I swear (my mom hates me swearing) this game will be popular. Good luck.

I Keep On Killing The Duck

I think my highest score was 2100 which is actually really low. This game was fun for the first couple times. Nothing someone would work hours just to get a high score on. Can you take the duck out of this game, I feel so bad killing him so many times, plus he screws up my chances of getting a better high score. Great game.

Good Songs

Not a bad game you made, but I played this game many times. You had a good amount of songs, but the backround of each level was the same. I managed to get 20 points I think. This game was so much easier played by mouse than played by keyboard. You were able to travel faster and turn easier. Overall this game gets a trusty 7.

As for controls, i have now sped up the keyboard controls slightly.

Not Bad For First, But Need To Fix The Jumping

The song was good and it fit the game, the game also had a cool look to it, but the jump reflex did not work at all. It drove me crazy and I couldn't get anywhere on the game. Not a bad game overall but I do recomend that you fix that part. Good job overall I guess.

Computers Are So Cheap

The computer players would never let you get even close to a single hit on them. They would simply just cheap out on the game. That is partially why the game got a low mark. The thing is I tried my best and the controls were also really loppy making it so hard for me to play the game. Please make and easy, medium and hard to choose from.

AI don't cheap out on the game, they got the same controls and speed as you do. it's all my work where I tought computer how to beat the crap out of human player:)

Good, Fun Game

Those weird ghost things were so hard to kill. I won, but just barely. I got so far on the game and after, I couldn't do anything. It just stopped on me for some reason. Good game, but please try to make an effert on fixing that.
